The weather was kind to Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations this year to the delight of  thousands of celebrators from across the world who descended on Princes Street for a night not to be forgotten.

In West Princes Street Gardens, Jarvis Cocker's Pulp wowed and entertained the Concert in the Garden's crowd with hits such as; Somethings Changed , Disco 2000, Pink Glove and the fantastic  Common People - before and after a rather fantastic fireworks display high above Edinburgh Castle to mark the midnight hour.

It truly was a reminder - if one were needed - that Edinburgh still is the place to bring in the bells!
